Cloud Hosting Review - By: Dan Godinov
06/08/10Pros:
Fine for grid hosting, but nothing special.
Cons:
They claim Windows cloud. Even Microsoft doesn't seem to have one

Cloud Hosting Review - By: Michael C
02/17/09Pros:
Easy to deploy images
Cons:
poor pricing, low stability, bad invoices layout, very poor support
Other Thoughts:
Dreadfully poor uptime, front line support with minimal experience. Heavily advertised as competitively priced against Amazon EC2, but only if you are willing to pay and deploy minimum of 7 servers for a month. Even advised by ServerPath after an escalation that gogrid wasn't suitable for production

Other Thoughts:
GoGrid seems to be OK technology. Where they are a MISS. You need to be able to create a Firewall on the fly and VPN over private address for this to be secure. Support at GoGrid have been good to respond. I wish they could fix the issues a little quicker. I had a machine that went down and it took 2 days for them to get it back up. I doubt Amazon would take that long and while Amazons server are slower CPU, they have had 100% uptime for me. Hopefully GoGrid will have minimal bumps in the road and will get even better over time.
