VoIP Review - By: Dan Lane
12/28/10Pros:
Telekenex offers alot of features but the quality and reliability behind those features is nothing less than garbage.
Cons:
Expensive because they start to "sneak-in" unexpected fees into your bill. Telekenex's network is very unstable- I can't even count how many times I've lost my internet connection. Customer support is next to useless and gives me run-around answers
Other Thoughts:
If you want reliable, dependable, and high-quality network service, then STAY AWAY from Telekenex and go find yourself a provider with a solid reputation.

12/22/10Pros:
They have a good story and will say everything you want to hear.
Cons:
Billing, support, usage fees, reliability
1/2 the west coast is suing them. Bad, bad, people.
Other Thoughts:
RUN AWAY IF YOU CAN! NOT WORTH YOUR JOB!

08/16/10Pros:
Feature set continues to expand. Voice calls always good. Private WAN very dependable, no down time. Internet access included. Conferecne bridge included and very reasonable, 3 cents I think.
Cons:
First bill was high, you must pay for two months at your first invoice.

08/11/10Pros:
The service quality and reliability is ok.
Cons:
Deceptive billing practices are the norm. You can expect new charges without any warning, contract prices will not be honored, threats to cut off service when a disputed amounts is not paid. Dispute delay tactics drag out charges to increase bill.
Other Thoughts:
I would strongly advise not working with this company. Working with this company felt like we were always be strong armed or threatened if we didn't pay up to their demands. As a business owner I would never treat my customers this way and have no interest in working with a company that relies on these tactics.

08/11/10Pros:
The phone service and reliability has been ok.
Cons:
Buyer beware with Telekenex. Once you are a customer you can expect terrible billing, border line deceptive and fraudulent. New fees will be added without any notice. Disputes dragged for months with offers to settle at a fraction of disputed amt.
Other Thoughts:
I would never work with this company again.

VoIP Review - By: Small Software Company
08/11/10Pros:
Service quality was good, able to take phones and plug them in at different locations without issue. But thats where the 'pros' ended.
Cons:
Immediately after signing a contract with Telekenex agreeing upon the service level and rate, Telekenex began extorting money out of us at will. Our bill quadrupled by the 2nd month.
Other Thoughts:
The service department was terrible, and went out of their way to make it difficult to question all of the tacked on charges. In spite of having a contract stating the level of service and rate we agreed upon, Telekenex insisted for 6 months we owed 4 times that amount. We finally came to an 'agreement' that we would terminate half the number of phones we were using to knock our bill down to DOUBLE what we were initially quoted at. So now we are left in a long lasting contract with less than the number of phones we need, and the various services associated with them have been cut as well. This is still costing us double what we agreed upon initially.
It was also stated that conference calling was included in the service level, and it had been for the last year. However recently Telekenex decided to charge us thousands of dollars for 'unbilled conference charges' going back a full year! It's outrageous and they know if we were ever told using 3 way calling was going to cost this much we wouldn't have used it.
Whenever we bring up the numerous disputed charges (and they make up new charges every few months), they immediately threaten to turn our phone service off and bill us for the remaining contract period. Forget customer service, this company excels in customer intimidation.
Their techniques are downright deceiving at best, and criminal at worst. Do not get involved with Telekenex if you value quality service and honesty. Those are two traits Telekenex has no knowledge of.
